Trainings for multipliers

In order to amplify the impact of the local actions to be carried out by our members locally, the Y Vote 2014 team, together with AEGEE-Aachen, proposes to organise a Training Course for multipliers, dedicated to those young people who want to make a local impact in the context of the EU elections.

The theme of the training course is about self development and making an impact in your community. Self-development in order to develop the participants training skills and self-awareness, as well as understanding of the concept of European citizenship and participation.

More concretely, during this event, we will:

  • Enhance your understanding of the concept of youth participation and European citizenship
  • Provide participants with a set of tools and skills to deliver effective and impacting local activities in the context of the EP elections 2014, and explore peer-to-peer learning
  • Create a network of young activists who promote participation on EP elections all over the European Union.

The training course is built on the idea of multiplication effect and spreading of good practices in training. We are preparing young people to actively participate in shaping their civil community, while at the same time making them more aware of themselves as individuals and as active European citizens.

During 6 days, 25 participants, youth activists coming from a wide range of different countries, will explore together the concepts of youth participation and European citizenship, reflect and experience how training can be a tool to empower local youth to become more aware and more willing to participate in the society.
